Current Employment

For the past year and a half, I have worked as a dedicated on-site engineer for a NetScout customer with a focus in Enterprise ITO. My key roles are to work proactively side-by-side with top level operations engineers and resolve issues before any large customer impact is noticed. Using the NetScout product, I collaborate with teams of all specialties(Network, Application, DB, etc..) to quickly and efficiently resolve issues. Between working proactive issues, my daily routines consist of typical linux server admin duties with updates, patching, debugging, and hardware maintenance. In this role, I work solely with the NetScout solution sitting on top of enterprise hardware and linux based software.

Work History

Prior to NetScout, I worked under the HP Enterprise Services Cloud umbrella for just over 2 years  working directly with the development labs. My primary focus was on supporting the network and security components consisting of blade-enclosures, access, distribution, core switches, core routers and Checkpoint/Tipping Point security solutions. Outside of my primary responsibility, I provided support and insight into the remaining cloud components including automation/scripting, virtualization, network/fiber storage, windows/linux operating systems, and various forms of hardware maintenance.


My specialty is enterprise networking, software, and automation. My mission is to invent new ways to unite cutting edge technologies for a truly converged next generation experience.
